Tomyummy Noodles House

Tomyummy Noodles House (东炎不败) has opened a third outlet in Maritime Piazza, after the ones at Jelutong and All Seasons Place.
The name of this eatery is parody of Dongfang Bubai (东方不败), a potent martial artist from the fictional novel "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer" (《笑傲江湖》).
As the name implies, the main highlight here is tom yum noodle soup. Besides, Tomyummy Noodles House also has a number of tom yum-flavored rice and porridge dishes.
In addition, the menu includes light snacks such as Fried Dumplings (香炸水饺) and Taiwan Sausages (台湾香肠).
My choice for dinner tonight is Tomyum Minced Pork Rice (东炎肉碎饭, RM5.90). This is basically tom yum-flavored minced meat served with rice and boiled egg.
The minced meat itself is delectable, but I feel that tom yum flavor is not so prominent in this dish. Compared to the amount of rice, I also feel that more gravy should be provided.
Overall, I think this rice dish is not as impressive as it sounds. At least the food portion and pricing are considered reasonable.
