The bakery Shervoné Cake & Pastry is situated at Krystal Point, right at the former premises of Eighteen restaurant and adjacent to Western Kitchen.
As recommended by Mr. Yo, proprietor of this bakery, I sampled a slice of Rum Trifle (RM8.00). This is an English dessert made from several layers of custard and sponge cake stacked on top one another.
This particular slice of trifle is made from rum, chocolate and coffee layers. The custard layers are amazingly creamy, while the sponge cake below is light and finely textured. Overall, the flavor is nicely tuned and not too sweet for me.
Besides cakes, Shervoné also provides party supplies. It is a one-stop boutique if you are throwing a birthday party.
