Northern Hill Coffee is a newly opened coffee house at Automall. The original store is located at Bukit Mertajam.
The beverage menu consists of coffee, tea and juices. There are not many choices, but sometimes simplicity is good.
For Sunday Special, a slice of cake and any drink are offered for RM12.90. Quite a decent deal in lieu of proper meal.
The Freezy Northern Hill Coffee (RM9.00) is my choice of beverage today. To honest, I think the coffee is too watered down. I can accept the fact that iced coffee loses its aroma, but I hardly feel any coffee flavor amidst the slushy mix.
As for the cake, I selected a slice of Green Tea Cake (RM10.90). This matcha-flavored sponge cake is prepared with red beans for extra sweetness. However, the cake is quite dry and does not appeal to my palate.
There are also packaged coffee on sale at Northern Hill Coffee. I wonder whether its freshly brewed coffee is good? This question has to wait for the next time.
