In search of a nice place to spend the afternoon, I stumbled on Gusto Cafe in Tanjung Bungah. The café is right next to Petron gas station at Hillside.
Gusto Cafe has limited dining space at the front, but there are more seats behind the drinks bar.
I start my meal with a cup of Cafe Latte (RM7.00). The coffee is acceptable but I prefer a stronger blend.
Jalapeno Bacon Cheese Burger (RM20.00) comes with 2 meat patties of customer’s choice; I opted for beef and pork. Also included are 2 bacon strips, 2 slices of cheese and 2 jalapeño peppers. Fried potato wedges are served on the side. While the burger is succulent and delicious, I feel the pork patty is not fully cooked.
Gusto Cafe used to operate another café at Chulia Street (Lebuh Chulia) in George Town, but that outlet has stopped operating since last year.
