Madison Kafe & Dine is a new café at Irrawadi Road. The restaurant occupies the former premises of New York Pizza.
Madison has an elegant ambience. The place is decorated with lovely ornaments including a large teddy bear.
Prepared from wild mushrooms, Mushroom Soup (RM13.80) is served in a bread bowl with croutons. The soup is somewhat diluted; I personally prefer a creamier consistency.
Next, Signature Big Breakfast (RM20.80) is presented on a wooden platter. Food items include chicken nuggets, turkey bacon, fried egg, roasted potatoes, baked beans, tomatoes and waffles.
Last but not least, Carrot Milk (RM11.80) is served in a special glass that is shaped like a light bulb. The glass is immersed in an ice bath to keep the drink chilled. In case the drink is not sweet enough, more syrup is provided.
Madison scores well in terms of atmosphere and food presentation, but there is some room for improvement in terms of food taste.
